Regional Coordinators

The British Kodály Academy Regional Network

The BKA has a growing network of regional coordinators who are passionate and knowledgeable about the Kodály approach. When the Residential courses are over, they are flying the BKA flag in their regions. They are a point of contact for enquiries needing local knowledge and run a Facebook page to share information and events.

Our network of regional coordinators has been chosen by our trustees as representatives of the BKA. They collect information about Kodály activities in their area and become a point of contact for the BKA when there are enquiries that require local knowledge. They might be responsible for running choirs, taster days, or members' meet-ups. A number have had success in using their position to start conversations with the local music education service. The group also meets regularly online to support each other by sharing their news, hope and challenges. There are still several regions unrepresented. If yours isn't on the list, or you would like to offer support to an existing area, please get in touch for more information.
