The Kodály Way to Music book 1

It was Kodály himself who recommended Cecilia Vajda to Yehudi Menuhin who had asked for a person who could introduce Kodály's approach to Menuhin's own music school in Britain.

Cecilia's books offer practical ways and useful devices for general class teachers and for music specialists.

Book 1 introduces the first stages in musical literacy, starting with rhythm symbols and hand signs, moving progressively to the full diatonic scale on the stave and rhythms including semiquavers.
