Teaching Rooms

Most of the classes will be held in the University Department of Music which is based in a modern, purpose-built building. Rooms will be available for personal practice (when not in use for teaching) between 7.30 and 21.30 from Monday, August 8th.

Accommodation and Food

For residents, the course fee includes all accommodation and food. Accommodation will be in Cripps Hall of Residence which is a pleasant short walk from the Department of Music. Breakfast and Dinner will be canteen-style service in the hall dining room. A buffet lunch will be provided in the Department of Music.

All the bedrooms are upgraded for conference use and have large beds, tea and coffee-making facilities and a small fridge. There is an option of fully en-suite or two bedrooms sharing a self-contained bathroom which is accessed by a separate door (i.e. not from the bedroom). These are offered at slightly different prices and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are small kitchens on each floor plus a laundrette, bar and public rooms. Irons and hairdryers are not provided in bedrooms but are available to borrow.

If you require accommodation on Sunday 7th August, this can be arranged for £48 which will include bed and breakfast. Please contact Carole Allen for details and to book: [email protected]
