Pentatonic Music vol 2 (100 Little Marches)

Kodály wrote these pentatonic marches for young children - they can be sung or played on instruments. They particularly lend themselves to xylophones with removable notes so that fa and te can be removed.

Kodály also ensured that the compass of the melodies lay across the natural range of the child's own voice - about D (a major second up from middle C) to B a sixth above.

The marches are all printed in stick notation.
